GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The Assembly is the sovereign body of the Association; it formulates the general directives and the Action Plan for the achievement of the aims and purposes of the Association.

The Assembly
a) approves the final balance and budget;
b) elects the elective members of the Coordination Committee, the President and the Vice President, and determines the reimbursement of expenses for the members of the Committee
c) elects, on the proposal of the Coordination Committee, the members of the Audit Board and determines their remuneration;
d) decides on amendments to the memorandum and articles of association and on the early dissolution of the Association;
e) approves the rules of procedure, if any, and its amendments;
f) determines the annual membership fee
g) it appoints, on the proposal of the Coordination Committee, the multidisciplinary and international Scientific Committee composed of scholars and experts on the figure of Saint Columban to which it entrusts study and historical-scientific research tasks
h) deliberate on other matters submitted for its approval by the Coordination Committee.

The Assembly shall be chaired by the President of the Association or in the event of his absence or impediment by the Vice President, or in the event of the absence or impediment of both by another member of the Coordination Committee designated by those present.
All members in good standing with the payment of the annual membership fee are entitled to attend the Assembly.
